Hooks and Jig Sizing For Live Bait Applications

Crawlers: Octopus or Baitholder, Sizes 8, 6 and 4 depending on size of bait and size of fish.

Leeches: Octopus, Size 8 or 6.

Minnows: Octopus, Size 8 or 6 for crappie minnows/small fatheads,. size 4, 2 or 1 for most 3" to 5" baitfish and size 1/0 for 6" and up.

Crawlers: Sizes 12, 10.

Leeches: Sizes 12,10

Minnows: Sizes 10 or 12 for crappie minnows/small fatheads, sizes 8, 6 or 4 for most 3" to 5" baitfish and sizes 2 or 1 for 6" and up.

Crawlers: 1/16 to 1/4 oz depending on depth.

Leeches: 1/16 to 1/4 oz depending on depth.

Minnows: 1/8 to 1/2 oz depending on depth and size of minnow used.
